Installing a wired doorbell: We had a new door fitted and they couldn't drill a hole through the door frame as it would void the warranty/guarantee. We're looking for someone who knows what they're doing to drill a hole in the outside of the house to connect to the doorbell wires inside. The wires would probably need lengthening, but we can't be sure of that. We have an extra wire to work with however we're not certain if it is useable or not. We would then need it connected to the Google nest doorbell we have as it was previously before the door was updated.
